The Birth of Toni Magma

From the Forbidden Chambers of Rua Venus

The forest of Zlovoria did not sleep.

It breathed.

Deep beneath the ancient roots of Podaria’s oldest trees, hidden far below the witch-circles that once practiced peaceful magic, a cavern pulsed with unnatural life.

Green fire flickered along the stone walls.

Massive crystal tubes glowed like beating hearts.

Inside them floated creatures that should not exist.

Winged wolves.
Scaled faeries.
Elves with burning eyes and draconic bones twisting beneath their skin.

And at the center of the chamber stood Rua Venus.

The Banshee Sorceress.

Her three scaled tails curled slowly behind her like living serpents, their green scales edged in crimson light. Her pale face was calm, almost serene, as if she were sculpting art rather than committing atrocities.

Before her, bound within a massive vertical chamber of glass and black iron, floated an unconscious Icenarian elf woman.

Her name had once been Toni Valeris.

But that name was already gone.

Ancient runes spiraled across the chamber walls, glowing with venom-green light as the machine hummed with power. Tubes carrying shimmering black liquid fed into the chamber like veins.

Rua stepped forward, placing her long red fingertips against the glass.

“Such fragile things,” she whispered softly.

“Civilizations… empires… even gods.”

The elf inside the chamber stirred slightly, her fingers twitching in the fluid.

Rua’s violet eyes gleamed.

“But monsters… monsters endure.”

She lifted her hand slowly.

The chamber ignited.

A roar of energy surged through the apparatus as the mutation engine awakened.

Arcane lightning burst across the chamber.

The fluid inside began to boil.

The elf’s body convulsed violently as the transformation began.

Her spine arched backward with a sickening crack.

Bones stretched.

Muscles tore and regrew.

Dark scales erupted along her shoulders as veins glowed with molten orange light.

Behind her, something pushed violently against her skin.

Something growing.

Something ancient.

Rua watched with fascination.

“Valhallan drake blood…” she murmured.

“Black mamba venom… volcanic titan marrow…”

The chamber erupted with light.

Then—

CRACK

Two massive skeletal structures burst from the elf’s back.

Wings.

Raw. Burning. Dripping with molten energy.

The creature inside the chamber screamed.

Not like an elf.

Like something newly born into rage.

Her eyes snapped open.

They burned like lava.

Rua smiled.

“Good,” she whispered.

The glass chamber shattered outward in an explosion of steam and green fire.

The creature collapsed onto the stone floor, gasping, her new wings twitching violently as heat radiated from her skin.

Her body was no longer that of an elf.

Her veins glowed like rivers of magma beneath darkened skin.

Her hair burned like a black flame.

She struggled to rise.

Rua approached slowly.

Unafraid.

The creature snarled.

Rua simply raised a single finger.

A rune ignited in the air.

The creature froze.

The spell took hold instantly.

The new being fell to one knee, trembling with fury.

Rua tilted her head, studying her creation.

“Yes…” she whispered.

“You will do nicely.”

She circled the creature slowly.

“You will be stronger than the elves.”

“More savage than the dragons.”

“More loyal than any soldier.”

The creature glared upward.

“What… have you done to me?”

Rua’s lips curved into a slow smile.

“I improved you.”

She knelt in front of her.

“You are no longer Toni Valeris.”

Rua placed a glowing sigil upon the creature’s chest.

The mark burned into her skin like molten iron.

From it erupted a pulse of fiery energy.

Rua’s voice echoed through the chamber.

“You are Toni Magma.”

The creature gasped as the binding spell locked into her bones.

Across the cavern, hundreds of experimental creatures stirred in their chambers.

Rua stood slowly.

From the shadows behind her, another figure watched.

A towering warrior whose body still bore the scars of the gladiator pits.

Rex Lucius.

His eyes glowed faintly.

Rua glanced back toward him.

“The queen of your armies,” she said softly.

Toni Magma rose slowly to her feet.

Her wings unfurled fully for the first time.

The cavern filled with heat.

Her eyes locked onto Rex.

Then she knelt.

The spell compelled her.

“My king.”

Rex stared in awe.

Rua Venus smiled.

Another piece had moved on the board.

And the war for Amadonnia had just begun.
