The Gates Between Worlds
Long before the rise of the modern empires of Amadonnia, before the wars of Nordenheim, Xulu, Torox, or Camoria, an ancient civilization ruled the stars.
They were known only in surviving records as the Valhallan Empire.
At the height of their power, the Valhallans mastered the manipulation of Diamontion energy on a cosmic scale. Using technology that modern civilizations still struggle to understand, they created a system capable of bending space itself.
This system became known as:
The Intergalactic Portal Network.
The Creation of the Gates
The Valhallans discovered that concentrated Diamontion energy could temporarily tear open folds in spacetime.
These folds connected distant regions of the universe through stable gateways.
Using colossal machines known as Portal Obelisks, the Valhallans constructed a network of permanent dimensional gates that allowed instantaneous travel between star systems.
Entire civilizations became connected overnight.
Trade flourished.
Knowledge spread across galaxies.
The Valhallans effectively turned the universe into a single interconnected empire.
But such power could never remain stable forever.
The Collapse of the Valhallan Empire
Thousands of years ago, the Valhallan Empire mysteriously vanished.
Some historians believe their mastery of Diamontion led them to experiment with forces beyond their control.
Others believe a catastrophic war destroyed them.
What remains certain is that when the empire collapsed, the portal network was abandoned.
Many gates shut down.
Others became unstable.
A few remained operational.
Over time, new civilizations discovered these ancient structures and began fighting for control of them.
Because whoever controls the portals…
Controls the universe.
The Portal Nexus of Eramet
Among all the surviving gates, none is more important than the Portal Nexus of Eramet.
Hidden deep within the territory of the Eramet Empire, the Nexus is the largest known portal complex ever built.
Unlike most gates, which connect only two locations, the Eramet Nexus is believed to connect hundreds of star systems simultaneously.
It acts as the central hub of the ancient Valhallan network.
Because of this, Eramet has remained one of the most strategically important empires in the galaxy.
Many wars have been fought to control it.
But the true secret of the Nexus remained hidden for millennia.
Until recently.
The Lost Gate to Earth
Deep within the lowest levels of the Eramet Portal Nexus lies a dormant gateway unlike any other.
Ancient Valhallan inscriptions refer to it as:
The Sol Gate.
For centuries scholars believed it led to a dead system.
A forgotten region of space with no strategic value.
But modern research revealed something astonishing.
The Sol Gate leads to a remote blue planet located on the outer edges of a small solar system.
A planet known as:
Earth.
Why Earth Matters
At first glance Earth appears primitive compared to the advanced civilizations of Amadonnia.
Its technology is young.
Its knowledge of Diamontion energy is nearly nonexistent.
But Earth possesses something extremely rare.
An enormous quantity of natural Diamontion reserves embedded within its oceans and planetary core.
The Valhallans likely used Earth as a hidden energy reservoir.
A power source capable of fueling their portal network.
If an empire were to gain full control of Earth’s Diamontion reserves, they could potentially power the entire portal network indefinitely.
This would allow them to dominate interstellar travel and control the flow of armies across the universe.
In other words:
Control Earth…
Control the portals…
Control the universe.
Rex Lucius and the Coming War
Few leaders understand the true importance of Earth.
But one of them is Rex Lucius, the conqueror of Torox.
After learning the secrets of the portal network through ancient Valhallan records, Rex realized that controlling the Eramet Nexus would give him access to the Sol Gate.
With the Sol Gate open, Earth would become the ultimate power source for his expanding empire.
To achieve this goal, Rex has formed alliances with some of the most dangerous figures in the galaxy.
Among them:
King Brock Jaxson of Nordenheim
Master of the Oxidane Force.
And the ruthless banshee sorceress:
Rua Venus.
Together they prepare for the greatest war Amadonnia has ever seen.
A war not just for planets.
But for the gateways between universes.
Earth’s Unknowing Role
For now, the people of Earth remain unaware of the cosmic forces surrounding their world.
They do not know that ancient alien structures exist beneath their oceans and mountains.
They do not know that the power flowing through their planet is coveted by interstellar empires.
And they certainly do not know that an ancient portal buried deep beneath the surface may soon reopen.
When it does…
The warriors of Amadonnia will arrive.
And the fate of Earth will become entangled in a war that has been building for centuries.
